I have now completed the application documents requested by Handong for the faculty position they have invited me to accept for this coming academic year -- teaching American law in their undergraduate international law program of study. All of my teaching will be in English, though I'm hoping to improve my Korean beyond my current knowledge which consists only of "komapsumnida" I have also just booked my one-way flight to Busan (departing 20 Aug) where one of my new colleagues from Handong is scheduled to meet me for the two-hour drive north to Pohang and Handong's campus. I'll hit the ground running since the fall faculty retreat is set to commence on 24 Aug with class instruction beginning 1 Sep.
